Hello !
Hi everyone
I am joining the forum, following a chat with Farber on Steam and some contacts on the ATAG serveur of CloDo.
I will try to be active here, as I seek some training and good fellows to fly with.
Cheers from France !

Re: Hello !
Welcome!
Nice to have you on board. You'll get your pilot's badge after the training period which might take a couple of weeks, depending on how often our folks manage to get online with you.
Faust will be your primary trainer but we'll all try to do our share.
There are people on our training sessions
- Wednesdays 17:00 GMT / 18:00 CET
- Saturdays 13:00 GMT / 14:00 CET
Come join us, we won't bite.
Please fill in an application and tell us more about you. Particularly about your previous experience.

Re: Hello !
thanks sir !
I'll fill an application asap (should I send it as a pm to someone in particular ?). It's very nice to see there are some periods for training. I'll probably be flying on wednesdays very often !
About experience, I'm not-new-but-not-so-experienced to il2 sims. I've been flying with a friend on il2 1946 hsfx for more than a year and I got Cliffs of Dover a couple of months ago.
I've been flying with him or alone for around 20 hours I'd say.
I'm very much into the 109, with bombs or not, but I also fly on 110's, He111's and Ju 87's (rarely for the last two, as I struggle in bombing targets properly). Stukas are okay also

Re: Hello !
Please copy the template from the application thread and post your application as a reply in there.
Looks like you are quite familiar with flying as such, but need tutoring in the various aircraft of CloD.
The twin-engined ones are somewhat more complex than the 109 with their fuel management. The bombsight is actually quite easy when you get the hang of it.
You must also learn how to fly in a Schwarm, to use brevity codes in comms and do basic combat maneuvers. The you have to show the trainer that you can navigate, identify the enemy and land your aircraft without crashing...
